The BRR forecast may not be out yet as we still have three weeks left to go but dozens of cyclists from all over have already registered for the 39^th annual Bike Ride to Rippey.

But Bob Wilson with the Perry Chamber says it’s not just an event for out of town riders.

“There will be a hot chocolate stop again, the (McCreary Community Center) will be showcased again, the Hotel Pattee, we’re going to showcase all of the bars and restaurants and the great things.  So that’s why we do this, to promote tourism as well as give the locals something to do.  So if you’ve never done it, there’s no excuse.  I guarantee it’s going to be good weather, the definition of good is up to you.”

The Chamber is still looking for event sponsors and packages range from a $150 shirt sponsor to a $1,000 presenting sponsor level.

Pre-registration for the February 6^th event is $25 for the ride, $32 with breakfast or $15 to support the ride.
