If the ADM boys basketball team has proven just one thing so far this year, they’ve proven that they’ve been able to adapt to all types of problems and situations both on and off the court.
This week as the Tigers get ready to travel to Bondurant-Farrar to take on the Blue Jays, their main focus will be focused on the defensive side of the ball. Raccoon Valley Radio was able to catch up with ADM Boys head basketball coach Aaron Mager as he voiced where the Tiger defense is at and where it can get to.
“Our defensive average is too high for my liking. We’ve had it at times it’s just a matter of consistency. To get to the state tournament and win a championship you have to be great defensively because someone along the way will slow you down on offense but you’ve got to be able to answer that with a gritty defense,” explained coach Mager.
Next up for the Tigers will be this Friday as they head to Bondurant-Farrar to take on the Blue Jays in a double header conference match up. Boys game is scheduled for 7:30 pm with pregame coverage tipping off at 7:00 on your home for ADM basketball, K107.9 FM and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
