Pet owners in the Adel city limits are encouraged to get their animals licensed as soon as possible.
The annual licenses are valid through April 30th and as of May 1st a one dollar per month fee will be assessed per pet.
Proof of a recent rabies vaccination is required when obtaining the license. The cost is $5 for animals that have been spayed or neutered and $15 for unaltered pets.
