Guthrie Center juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to take the ASVAB test next week.
Though the ASVAB, which stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, is used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces, Guidance Counselor Kami Winther says the test can be useful for students not considering a career in the military.
The test measures aptitude in science, reasoning, word knowledge, reading comprehension, math, and electronics, automotive, shop and mechanical information.
