Any high school senior looking to pursue a career in agriculture or a related field is encouraged to apply for West Central Cooperative’s “Excellence in Agriculture” scholarship.
West Central awards four $1,500 scholarships for any accredited, post secondary program. The requirements include having a parent or the applicant as a voting member of West Central, have a cumulative grade-point-average of 2.5 or higher through their junior year and pursue a career in agriculture of a related field. All dependents of directors and officers are not eligible to apply.
Last year, one of the scholarships went to a Greene County High School graduate Noelle Gray.
