Paton-Churdan senior Carleigh Paup can score points on the basketball court. She led Class 1A in scoring as a junior at more than 25 points per game and currently sits ninth overall in all classes and his third in 1A in points per game, according to information posted on QuikStats online service. The guard has already earned all-state honors as a sophomore and junior is averaging 22.6 points per contest with a season best of 41 in a single game. Katie Hall of Grand View Christian of Des Moines is the 1A leader in points per game at 25.3.
