Paton-Churdan won 57-46 over Coon Rapids-Bayard in Churdan Tuesday night in Rolling Valley Activities Conference girls’ basketball. All-State player Carleigh Paup scored 26 points to lead the Rockets with nine each by Sydney Koch and Grace Geisler, and eight points from Jenna Byers. Koch also had seven rebounds and six steals.

Head Coach Chris Petersen said it was nice to win going into the break for the holidays, but he felt his team played a sloppy game and were out rebounded.
