Tuesday, December 22nd

A deputy was advised of cattle along the roadway on U Avenue near 180th Street. The cattle owner and the deputy were unable to locate any cattle out along the road. The field gates were all found to be secure.

A deputy was advised and did locate a reported erratic driver westbound from Grand Junction on Highway 30. The deputy followed the described vehicle for several miles and did not see any traffic violations.

A deputy was dispatched to control traffic for a semi-tractor trailer that was experiencing mechanical difficulties and parked partially on the roadway on 140th Street west of Churdan. The deputy remained on scene until the semi was removed.

Wednesday, December 23rd

A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a 911 call in the 100 block of East Central Street in Jefferson.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants a presumed innocent until proven guilty.
