The Guthrie Center girls basketball team recently captured their first win in nearly two season.

Head coach Jordan Waddell says it wasn’t easy securing the 50-39 victory last week at Earlham. “We came out a little flat against Earlham. We got down 6-0 pretty quickly, then we kicked it into gear. We slapped on a press that we hadn’t really used in a game yet. We got some turnovers with it, but really it just helped with our intensity.”

The Tigers won’t play  again until 2016.
