Raccoon Valley Radio recently wrapped up our fourth annual Caring Christmas Food Drive.

This year in Greene County, we raised $1,000 and 1,000 food items for the Action Resource Center (ARC) of Greene County. Site Manager Diane Blackmer describes her reaction to all the food items we raised for the holiday season.

“Well this is a tremendous contribution. I was very impressed by the quality and quantity of things that you have brought. That gives us a big boost in getting through the Christmas season and the holiday season. We appreciate everyone thinking of the food pantry.”

The ARC is normally open every Wednesday and every third Saturday each month. However, due to Christmas this week, the food pantry will be closed on Wednesday.
