Funeral Services for Gwen Fitzpatrick, 72, of Churdan, IA will be 10:00 am Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Abundant Life Ministries in Jefferson, Iowa. Visitation will begin after 11:00 am Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, west of Churdan, IA. Memorials are suggested to the family to be decided on at a later date.

She is survived by her husband Patrick Fitzpatrick of Churdan, IA; her children:  Mark Fitzpatrick of Olathe, KS, James Fitzpatrick of Churdan, IA, Ellen Neldeberg of Altoona, IA, and David Fitzpatrick of Altoona, IA; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters:  Dorena Wilson of Jefferson, IA, and Jodi Chandler of Grimes, IA; other relatives; and friends.
