The Jayette basketball team won a pivotal Raccoon River Conference matchup in dramatic fashion on Tuesday night. With just seconds remaining in the 4th quarter and trailing by 3 points, Grace Marburger hit a deep 3 to tie the game and send it to overtime. In the extra session, the Jayettes once again found themselves trailing in the game’s final moments. With just 1.9 seconds remaining, Perry threw the in-bounds pass to Emma Olejniczak, who caught and fired a game-winning 3-pointer as the final horn sounded.

Perry was led by senior Grace Marburger with 21 points, Alyssa Kruger with 6, and Olejniczak with 6. The Jayettes snap a 4 game losing streak and will be back in action on Friday against Carroll.
