West Central Valley’s head girls basketball coach Drew Stonewall doesn’t have a goal of how many wins he wants his team to achieve this year. He says it’s best to focus on each day and let the chips fall where they may. “You can spend a lot of time looking at the schedule and trying to figure out what kind of goal would be good for the number of wins. At the end of the day, just taking the season game by game is the best way to go. It’s a long season and you can get caught up looking at the schedule too much. Really, we just got to focus on each practice to get better.”

The Wildcats began practice Monday.
