Dallas County Hospital is partnering with the Midwest Rural Telemedicine Consortium of Mercy Health Network to offer a free program on smoking education next week.

The Tobacco Addiction: Is it Really Worth Treating presentation will take place Thursday from 6-7pm in the hospital’s board room.

It’s a live, video conference with a family practice nurse practitioner and American Lung Association tobacco expert.  The program will talk about how tobacco affects adults and children, and what resources and programs are available to help people quit or prevent them from starting.
