Guthrie Center’s volleyball season has come and gone and several seniors will be gone from the team next year. Head Coach John Jones says he has a fairly deep bench of players waiting to start. One of those rising stars is Savana Fuller. “Savana Fuller played a lot of JV this year and we had her on the varsity bench. We started using her when girls were sick or out of town. She started stepping up. If we can get her to learn to hit and get her timing down, I think she’ll be fun to watch.”

The Tigers season ended this year in the second round of the Class 1-A Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union playoffs, when they fell to Grand View Christian.
