Guthrie Center School District enrollment has decreased by six students this school year.

Guthrie Center’s reported enrollment shows the larger classes are graduating each year, leaving smaller classes to take their place. The average class size in 7th-12th grade is 39 students. The average class size in kindergarten-6th grade is only 36 students.

The District has recently passed a motion of intent to consider a whole grade sharing agreement with Adair-Casey. The agreement must be approved by both district’s boards by February 1, 2016 in order to be implemented next school year.
