Mass of the Christian Burial for John “Sonny” Wernimont, 79, of Auburn will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Auburn, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Carroll. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with a scripture prayer service at 7 p.m.

Sonny is survived by his son Jason Wernimont of Auburn ; 4 grandchildren; Sharon Eccles of Auburn who shared his life for 25 years; and sisters Kathleen Liatti of Cleveland, OH and Marian Bowers of Sedona, AZ.
