Did you know that one in three kids in the U.S. has a food allergy?
In an effort to make sure all children are able to enjoy the traditional Halloween festivities, there’s a new initiative called the Teal Pumpkin Project.
Dallas County Hospital and the Perry Hy-Vee are taking part by sponsoring special non-food treats at the hospital today during the Safe and Healthy Halloween event.
The free event takes place from 5 to 6:30pm and is open to the public.
