Ian Steensen is running for one of three open at-large seats on the Guthrie Center City Council.

He is a newcomer to the political scene and believes his lack of experience in government could actually be a benefit. “I think that will be kind of a good thing, because I’m not going to come in with any agenda. If I get elected, I won’t get right to the table and immediately start trying to change things.”

The election is next Tuesday, November 3rd.
