The Greene County Community Center will be transformed into a family-friendly spooky place for Halloween on Thursday.
Jefferson Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner says all two year-old through fifth graders are invited to the community center from 4 to 5pm for Halloween games.
“So the kids will receive a pumpkin and they’ll be able to decorate that pumpkin. We’ll have probably close to ten games up. We have a fishing game, we play bingo, we have can toss and then we’ll have pumpkin bowling. that we toss eyeballs into. Then we’ll have pumpkins that we toss eyeballs into, so that’s always a fun little thing to do.”
The Greene County High School Interact club will help to run some of the games and give out candy to the children. Check-ins begin at 3:45pm with the activities to start at 4pm. Pre-registrations are appreciated for the free event.
