A disappointing season ended fittingly with a thud Friday night in Harlan, as the ADM football team was blown out by Harlan, 49-7.

The Cyclones dropped the hammer on ADM in a hurry, sending the Tigers (3-6, 1-5) to their fifth consecutive loss. After a 3-and-out by ADM to open the game, Harlan scored two plays later.

Harlan (8-1, 5-1) scored three touchdowns in a span of just over three minutes, taking advantage of ADM turnovers and short fields and turning them into quick points. Two of those touchdowns came on just one play, including a rushing score by junior tailback Nick Tarney and another by fullback Nick Foss.

By halftime, Harlan had scored all 49 of its points and brought in its backups to start the second half.

ADM finishes with a losing record for the first time since 2013, when ADM made the playoffs but was 4-6. The Tigers are missing the postseason for the first time in seven years.
