Lisa Jaskey is running for re-election to the Jefferson City Council.

She’s lived in Jefferson for five years and is married to Dr. David Jaskey with Greene County Medical Center.  She is a licensed certified personal accountant for the past 32 years and has run her own firm for 25 years.  She also serves on the Greene County Development Corporation’s housing committee as well as the City’s housing committee. She’s a self-described “big picture” person that can figure out how to get to the end point.

“I kind of have always lived in the world of economic development and I love the challenge of making the deal.  If it’s for the benefit of the citizens of Jefferson, I like the challenge of figuring out, okay, how do we get this done?  And also, I never give up.”

She also serves as treasurer of the Sierra Community Theatre and is a board member for Midwest Partnership.  Jaskey tells Raccoon Valley Radio why she wants to continue to be a council person.

“Leadership, experience and results, that’s what I bring to the table and that’s what I want to continue.  But also, I love Jefferson and I love Greene County and I care about this community.  And I want to be a part of what’s happening.”

The city council elections will be on Tuesday, November 3rd.
