Guthrie-ISU-Ext-Guthrie-County-Fair-1-4-SkyGuthrie County Extension and Outreach reminds you to mow your lawn until the grass stops growing in late October or early November. Office Coordinator Vicki Frohling says fall is the best time to control perennial weeds in your lawn with broadleaf herbicide. Additionally, fall is a good time to fertilize your lawn. It promotes root development and enhances storage of food reserves. For more information, call the Extension office in Guthrie Center at 641-747-2276.
