There have been several events for adults at the Perry Public Library lately but the children are not being left out.
Tonight, families are invited to a free, special program that library Director Mary Murphy says children’s librarian Suzanne Kestel has put together.
“Everything is around the theme of Wild West Rodeo. So (Kestel) says she’s going to be lassoing cows in the large meeting room, so I’m waiting to see how this works out. We do a lot of things in that meeting room but this is one of the most unusual, or at least lately.”
Attendees will be able to read stories, create an armadillo craft and make s’mores.
It takes place at 6:30pm and no registration is needed to participate.
