Thursday is National Manufacturing Day and the Dallas County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office is hosting a special presentation.
The manufacturing technologies program will focus on additive manufacturing, also known ad 3D printing technology. Participants will discus how this is being used today, review actual printed parts and explore case studies.
Attendees will also be able to learn how the Center for Industrial Research and Service at ISU can be a resource to grow and promote manufacturing in the state.
It takes place from noon to 1pm Thursday at the extension office in Adel.
