The Panorama Panthers football team had a nice bounce back win at Des Moines Christian Friday night after suffering their first loss of the season a week before against Van Meter. The Panthers beat Des Moines Christian 49-27 and now have a record of 6-1 on the season. The Panthers host Interstate 35 next Friday night.
The Guthrie Center Tigers football team was trounced Friday night, falling 66-12 at district powerhouse East Union of Afton. With that defeat the Tigers have a record of 1-6 on the season and have almost certainly been eliminated from playoff contention. The Tigers will play host to Charter Oak-Ute next Friday night.
The West Central Valley Wildcats were looking for their first win of the season Friday night, but weren’t able to attain it at East Sac County of Wall Lake. The Wildcats fall by a score of 60-6 and now have a record of 0-7 on the season. The Wildcats will host Shenandoah next Friday night.
