The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its 2015 regional volleyball pairings and the two programs in Greene County both open the postseason on the road. Greene County plays second rated Kuemper Catholic in Carroll at Kuemper HS in Class 3A Region 2 at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26. Paton-Churdan opens 1A Region 4 tournament action at Adair-Casey vs. A-C on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.

The Greene County/Kuemper Catholic winner advances to the semifinal round on Oct. 29 at Kuemper against either number 13 East Sac County (Lake View) or Southeast Valley (Gowrie). The other teams in Region 2 are Atlantic, Clarinda, Red Oak, and Shenandoah.

The P-C/A-C winner plays in the quarterfinals on Oct. 27 at A-C vs. either CAM (Anita) or Exira/Elk Horn-Kimballton. Other teams in Region 4 include number 13 Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Glidden-Ralston, Guthrie Center, Nodaway Valley, number 8 Grand View Christian (Des Moines), Murray, Iowa Christian Academy (West Des Moines), East Union (Afton), and Orient-Macksburg.
