With Halloween just a few weeks away, cities in Adair and Guthrie counties have begun scheduling their trick or treating times.

Guthrie Center and Panora will both have trick or treating Friday, October 30th from 6-8 p.m. Additionally, the downtown area in Guthrie Center will be from 5-6 p.m.

In Greenfield, trick or treating will take place on October 31st from 5-8 p.m.

Stuart will schedule their trick or treating night at their October 12th City Council meeting.

Greenfield Municipal Utilities (GMU) is asking the public if they would be interested in adding credit cards as a method of payment.

The biggest question is if you would use a debit or credit card to pay utilities, and if there was an added convenience fee attached to the transaction, what’s a fee amount you would be comfortable paying?
