Practiced for nearly three thousand years as a way to increase physical, mental and spiritual health, yoga is the newest activity being offered at West Central Valley High School. Activities Director Tod Broman says Drill Team Coach Samantha Finneseth began the program as a workout for her team, but it has expanded. “I think she’s actually doing this trying to get her drill team girls to come and develop their flexibility, but at the same time she’s opening it up to everyone else. Could be students, faculty, staff or whoever shows up.”
Yoga sessions will take place from 7-7:45 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday in the high school gym.
