A new workshop offered by Adair County Extension will teach kids how to be safe in the kitchen.
Administrative Assistant Donna Wallace says the new youth food group will teach kitchen safety, safe food preparation and how to follow recipes. Activities will be aimed towards youth in 4th-6th grades, though older youth are also invited to attend.
An informational meeting is scheduled to take place Sunday, October 4th from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the 4-H/FFA Center at the Adair County Fairgrounds.
