The State Auditor’s office has released the 2014 Audit Report for the City of Grand Junction.
According to State Auditor Mary Mosiman, Grand Junction saw revenues of $544,069 for the 2014 fiscal year ending on June 30th. Revenues include $150,027 in charges for service; $139,156 from property and other city taxes; $97,102 from capital grants, contributions and restricted interest; $93,621 from operating grants, contributions and restricted interest; $63,638 from Local Options Sales and Services Tax; $525 from unrestricted interest on investments.
Expenses totaled $539,881, which includes $326,005 for public works, $70,047 for culture and recreation, $63,238 for general government and business type activities are $14,123.
