The City of Perry is working with community members to evaluate residential needs in the town

City Administrator Sven Peterson says they recently had a Housing Needs Assessment kickoff meeting.

“So we’re just going over the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of housing and kind of the development of Perry.  Going on from here we’ll be doing some focus groups.  We’ll be reaching out to different groups to try and put together a group of people to do those focus sessions to talk about what kind of housing there is in Perry, what kind of housing is needed in Perry.  So I think that’ll be a great process with a lot of public input.”
