A deputy responded to 240th Street and K Avenue to remove a deer carcass from the roadway.

A Grand Junction City employee advised he was transporting a black Labrador to the shelter in Jefferson.

The Chief Deputy Sheriff was advised of a harassment concern at the Paton-Churdan School in Churdan.

A deputy investigated an attempted burglary at a building site in the 900 block of 190th Street.

A deputy checked an abandoned vehicle at 220th Street and R Avenue. The vehicle was tagged for the 24 hour removal requirement.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1800 block of 235th Street for the report of several hunters trespassing on private property.

A deputy was advised of a barking dog concern in the 1000 block of Livingston Street in Churdan.

A deputy spoke by phone with a Grand Junction resident about a civil issue.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1100 block of State Street in Scranton to investigate the report of a suspicious person soliciting a product. The described male subject was soon located at the Casey’s General Store. The male was identified and advised that he needed to talk with city hall before soliciting.

A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Main Street East in Grand Junction to help mediate a verbal altercation.

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of West 2nd Street in Rippey, to investigate criminal mischief to a door and window.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
