The West Central Valley football has switched around their offense slightly. Wildcats Head Coach Eric Addy says moving forward, Knick Badker will be taking the snaps as starting quarterback. Former quarterback John Askren and Tim Draper will split carries in the backfield. Askren, in his first game as a running back, average eight yards per carry against a tough Kuemper Catholic team Friday. Coach Addy says he spoke with his star player, Askren, upon deciding the change. “Im like ‘hey, are you a quarterback? Maybe, maybe not’, but, ‘are you a playmaker? Definitely!'”

The Wildcats play again when they host Red Oak Friday at 7 p.m.
