Funeral services for Lowell E. Dawes, 90, of Adel, will be Wednesday at 1 pm at the Panther Creek Church of the Brethren in rural Adel.  Burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery in Adel.  Visitation will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the McCalley Funeral Home in Adel.  Family will greet friends from 5 pm to 6:30 pm and a prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in his memory to the Panther Creek Church of the Brethren in Adel or the ADM Alumni Association.  Online condolences may be left for the family at mccalleyfuneralhome.com.  Survivors include:  Wife, Helen.  Sons, Nick and John.  Daughter, Barbara Dawes Sadley.  9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
