Friday, September 11th

A deputy while on routine patrol, checked an unoccupied vehicle on Highway 30 near Pioneer Avenue.

A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of East Kelly Street in Grand Junction to remove a bat from the residence. The bat was ejected quickly and safely from the home.

A deputy was advised of the location of possible stolen items hidden in Greene County.

A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block East Hager Street in Grand Junction to investigate criminal mischief to a pickup.

A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle on Highway 30 near Hillcrest Avenue. The vehicle was later removed by the owner.

Saturday, September 12th

A deputy and personnel from the Greene County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 100 block of X Avenue. A 2014 Ford Fiesta that was being driven by Lexie Rae Crimmins 20, of Fort Dodge, was northbound on X Avenue (P46) when she lost control of her vehicle, and it entered the east ditch striking an electrical utility pole. Lexie Crimmins was transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge with non-life threatening injuries. Her vehicle was estimated to be a total loss and Crimmins was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of her vehicle. Damage to the utility pole owned by ITC and used by Alliant Energy was estimated to be $8,000. She was wearing her seat belt and the airbags did deploy.

A deputy was advised of cattle on the roadway in the 900 block of 120th Street. The cow was located and returned to a building site.

A deputy and an Iowa State Patrol Officer were advised of an erratic and careless driver on Highway 144 southbound from 110th Street. The vehicle was not located at that time.

A deputy was unable to locate a reported dog running at large in the 400 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to the 1400 block of Kirkwood Avenue for the report of a resident hearing gunshots near the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

A deputy was asked to check the welfare of a male subject in the 1900 block of Locust Street in Scranton.

Sunday, September 13th

A deputy was dispatched to a barking dog concern near 11th and Elizabeth Streets in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched for the report of a single vehicle in the ditch on 210th Street just east of N Avenue. After an investigation by the deputy, the owner of the car, Joshua Adam Kennedy 22 of Jefferson, was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control of his vehicle.

A deputy was advised of a careless driver that nearly caused several accidents on 110th Street (E13) and was now southbound on Eaton Avenue. The deputy located the car and driver and spoke with her about her driving actions.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants were presumed innocent until proven guilty.
