A year ago, the Guthrie Center football team was defeated by Coon Rapids-Bayard by a score of 41-7. Tonight, in Coon Rapids the Tigers look to strike back. Head Coach Mark McDermott believes his Guthrie Center squad has a shot. “They play tough defense, and aggressive, and hard-nosed and run to the ball real well. It’s going to be quite a challenge, I think hopefully we’re up for that. Our kid’s confidence is improving and it’s going to be nice going into district play.”
Tonight’s game set to begin at 7 p.m. at Coon Rapids-Bayard High School.
