Thursday, September 10th
A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of 2nd Street in Rippey to investigate the theft of a 1996 red Chevrolet pickup truck.
A deputy responded to the 500 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction to check an abandoned E-911 call that was received by dispatchers and mapped to that location. The residents at the house were found to be safe and secure.
A deputy was unable to locate anyone at home in the 100 block of Main Street in Rippey after dispatchers received an abandoned E-911 call that mapped to that location.
A deputy was advised that Amy Marie Simpson of Jefferson, reported that she had struck a deer on Highway 30 near Orchard Avenue and would be picking up an accident report at the Law Enforcement Center.
A deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Highway 4 and 330th Street to check a reported suspicious vehicle that was reported to be parked along the roadway. The driver was identified and was reported to talking on his cell phone.
Friday, September 11th
A deputy while on routine patrol, checked an unoccupied vehicle on Highway 30 near Pioneer Avenue.
A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of East Kelly Street in Grand Junction to remove a bat from the residence. The bat was ejected quickly and safely from the home.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants were presumed innocent until proven guilty.
