A revised offense has led to success for the Guthrie Center volleyball team. Head Coach John Jones says he suspected a revision needed to be made after the season opening loss to Audubon, and the results have been immediate. “Changing the offense a little bit, so we can not run into each other. Trying to put girls in positions where they are able to succeed. The thing we improved a lot from the first match to the second was serve percentage. We went from 50 percent to 80 percent.”

Guthrie Center has won two straight matches, against Ogden and Madrid, and plays again when they head to the Griswold tournament Saturday.
