A retired school teacher seeking her first term as a Perry Community School District board member received the most votes in Tuesday’s election.

We spoke with Linda Andorf before the election to find out where she feels the district can improve.

“Shrinking budgets are always going to be a concern so that we can continue to provide quality education with the budget that we have.  We need to continue to increase those progressive reading and math scores.  We need to decrease the disconnect between students.  Sometimes they don’t see the connection between themselves, education and the classroom.”

We will have more information on the two incumbents who will serve another term in the district coming up in the news tomorrow.
