Springbrook State Park will shut down for the season Tuesday for major renovations. Park Manager Carolyn Guttenfelder says the park will be closed to vehicle traffic while the road repair project takes place. She says a low water crossing bridge near the entrance to the park and another water crossing in the campground are being replaced. Additionally, the road that goes from the spillway up to the shelter house and picnic area will also be replaced. The Sherburne Cabin and pedestrian walkways will be open during the construction, which is scheduled to finish on May 21st, 2016.
