After four weeks of practice the Greene County varsity volleyball team opens the 2015 season tomorrow in Lake City at the South Central Calhoun tournament. Coach Donna Carhill’s Rams are short on varsity experience. Only junior hitter Nadia Fisher has played on the varsity level.

Greene County has a busy week next week with three outings, all on the road. The Rams play CMB in Maxwell on Sept. 8, then travel to Class 3A number one ranked Nevada on Sept. 10, before traveling to Eldora on Sept. 12 for the South Hardin Tournament. The first seven playing dates on the schedule are away from home.
