The annual Guthrie County Fair Parade will take place tomorrow in Guthrie Center. For the second year in a row Main Street Guthrie Center will be selling cinnamon rolls before the parade. Director Julie Bailey hopes they’re as successful this year as they were last year. “Last year we ordered seven dozen cinnamon rolls and we sold out in an hour.”
Main Street will begin selling cinnamon rolls, coffee and orange juice at 8:30 a.m. The parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. This year’s parade theme is “Race On In.” Bailey will tell us more about the parade sale and other Main Street events happening in the near future, today, on Let’s Talk Guthrie County. It airs during the 9 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. hours on K107.9 and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
