A week after falling to Stanton by a score of 24-0, the Guthrie Center Tigers football coaching staff have worked to get their team primed for a bounce back. Head Coach Mark McDermott says last week’s allowed them to tuneup some things in order to get ready for tonight’s contest against a struggling Melcher-Dallas team. “Getting some patterns down, being able to throw the ball consistently, when we want to. Simple things also, like staying on your block a little bit longer, tackling harder and lower.”
Tonight’s game set to start at 7 p.m. at Guthrie Center High School.
