The 157th annual Guthrie County Fair begins today. The fair, which runs through Monday features many livestock and static exhibits to enjoy. Extension Youth Coordinator Mollie Clark says there are a record number of livestock entries at this year’s fair. She says they are trying to find places to store additional rabbits and poultry, when the birds are allowed back at next year’s fair. “We are trying to raise money for rabbit and poultry cages, because every year we have to borrow more and more from other counties. We are in the process of trying to do some fundraising for that.”
The fair runs through Labor Day. Tune into K107.9 for live coverage of the fair each day as we will be broadcasting from the Big Red Radio. Check our website for live results everyday from the fair.
