On the morning of September 2nd, Stuart police officers executed a search warrant in the 600 block of SW 7th Street. During the search, officers recovered numerous items of stolen property and arrested 19 year old Cole Aaron Molyneux. He is charged with trafficking stolen firearms, possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools. A juvenile male was also charged in connection with the case.

Because the majority of the burglaries took place outside of Stuart’s city limits, the investigation will be handed over to surrounding law enforcement agencies. The Stuart Police Department expects additional charges to be filed from the result of further investigation.
