The Panorama Panthers football team, coming off an electrifying, come-from-behind 48-21 win against Ogden, last week, have jumped in the polls and are now the 7th best team in Class 1A, according to the Des Moines Registers’ weekly power rankings. Heading into a week 2 trip up to Manson-NW Webster, Friday night, and the Panthers are 19 point favorites, according to BC Moore. Panorama head coach Lyle Alumbaugh says despite being favored on paper, his team can’t overlook the big student-athletes on the opposing team. “They’ve always got size, they’ve always got athletes. I know it will be a tough game, they do an excellent job up there.”
