The Guthrie Center Tigers football team is a massive 42 point favorite in Friday’s contest against Melcher-Dallas, according to BCMoore. Melcher-Dallas has been outscored 113-0 in 2 games this year and Guthrie Center head coach Mark McDermott believes the game presents an opportunity to bounce back against the young, inexperienced Melcher Dallas team, after the Tigers’ season opening loss to Stanton last week. “They’re pretty much playing a JV level game at the varsity level, they lost so many good kids last year. For us, we’re looking forward to Friday night and hopefully we can execute the way we want and continue on the right path.”
Friday’s game at Guthrie Center begins at 7 p.m.
