The Perry Jayette volleyball team is off to a 3-4 start after the first week of the regular season. The Jayettes went 2-4 this past Saturday at the Bondurant Farrar Tournament. Head Coach Kristel Schultz was extremely pleased with her team’s straight set victory Thursday night over Fort Dodge St Edmond and was hoping for more wins in Bondurant.
“We played so well Thursday night especially since we had a lot of young kids out there for the first time. It was some of the best team volleyball that I have seen in my two years here. The kids were not selfish and they really set each other up. We had some letdowns Saturday and didn’t play nearly as sharp. We will get back to work and be ready for the ADM tournament Thursday.”
