Area residents will be able to learn more about Medicare at a workshop at Adair County Memorial Hospital next week. The Welcome to Medicare seminar is offered by the state’s Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) and covers Medicare benefits, prescription drug benefits, Medicare Advantage Plans and Medicare Supplemental Insurance. The event takes place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 10th inside of the hospital’s education room. Please register by Thursday, September 3rd by calling 641-743-7264.
